  • Kobe Bryant was born in August 23, 1978 and played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers for his entire 20 year career. Kobe is ranked #3 on the all-time scoring list. Like LeBron, Kobe was also drafted by the NBA right out of high school and did not need to go to college because his talents were already recognized. He was 13th pick of the draft which is surprising because he is one of the all-time greats.

Kobe Bryant has won 5 championships and 3 of them were with the one of the all-time great centers and Hall of Fame: Shaquille O’Neal. They would have won a lot more championships however Kobe and Shaq had a feud which caused them to separate.

Kobe was the youngest player to reach 30000 career points and the all-time leading scorer for the Lakers. Kobe suffered from a torn Achilles tendon which hindered his performance and later on suffered from serious injuries to his knee and shoulders which could’ve ended his career. However, even through all the injuries, Kobe still manages to impress everybody and rack up big stats.

Throughout Kobe’s entire career, he averaged 25 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, 4.7 assists per game, 1.4 steals per game, and 0.5 blocks per game. He could have averaged more stats but because of his injuries later on in his career, he could not play as hard like he used to.
